Thank you for responding to my letter! I m really happy to hear from you! To be honest, I m not quite sure where to start with my letter. My name is Anastasiia and I was born in Kherson, Ukraine. I lived in Ukraine with my family for my whole life, but unfortunately, due to the conflict with Russia, I had to leave my country. It was a very scary situation when bombs were exploding all around me. After one bomb hit a neighboring house, I quickly grabbed my important documents and some belongings and fled the country. Now I m in Kazakhstan, where my father was originally from and where I have some relatives who helped me settle in. I m grateful to be safe and well here. The idea of meeting someone online was unexpected for me. My friend and I were at a café, just having some tea, and she mentioned how popular online dating has become. She herself met her husband on a dating website, and he s from Bulgaria. Now they re happily living together, which is an inspiring example of finding love on the internet. It s great to connect with you! Honestly, I can relate to feeling shy and uncertain about writing this letter. But I m glad I took the chance and wrote to you! I m not very active on social media, so I decided to take the advice of a friend and try out a dating agency. When I saw the different profiles, I found myself drawn to your profile and decided to write to you. This is my first experience with online dating, so I m not sure how they get their information.
